This is the hardly part of the job we made here , find good keepers and keep them with their initial enthusiasm for long time!
I wish you the best success in your fry distribution!
--- no experience with Red flank , but normally
in male :eggs spott is surrounded by a transparant halo ( that gives us the impression that it has been black cercled) - not sure the explanation is clear in english sorry
in female : eggspots smaller with no Halo around
In my opinion but I can be wrong it is my experience (with my species), generally speaking if I see some red colour in the body , I guess it is not a female ( this does not apply to fins , where females can show red colour)
See you,
